Supposed to be a line-art, but it is nearly impossible (for me at least) to do a line-art of a dark skined dude, and evidently, he still isn't dark-skinned due to the massive failure that is my scanner. I tried to fix it up in photoshop, but for some reason stuff looks different in photoshop than it does when I upload so, so whatever.
I may darken some lines later and re-scan in.
Character is Pharaun Mizzrym, badass drow mage from the War of the Spider Queen series.
They are technically related. The War of the Spider Queen was R.A. Salvatore's idea, but instead of him writing it, each book of the series has a different author writing it. The characters from The Legend of Drizzt series aren't in it, though. As for the Legend of Drizzt series, you should read the whole thing, it's very good, it's also really long. X3
Wow, that's great! Thanks for not drawing him like an ugly old man! 8D It makes me sad when I see people drawing him that way, and this is just pretty to look at. ♥ I feel like you did his amazing characterization justice.
Thank you very much, lol. I'm amazed at why people draw him looking so old, haha, it's like looking at the old versions of the Legend of Drizzt books. I'm glad you liked it. The world needs more Pharaun.
You're very welcome. I think the old versions of the Drizzt books are probably the reason for it. I don't know why people can't stick the ever-changing descriptions of the characters in the books, but oh well. To each their own I guess.
